Emory-Georgia Tech First Research Experience in Computational Mathematics

A new undergraduate research program to provide a research experience that is accessible and welcoming to students who have had little or no prior research opportunities. The program consists of two teams, each with one student from Emory and one student from GT, to create a cross-institutional collaboration and community that is typical in real-world research. It is run jointly with Dr. Elizabeth Qian (Georgia Tech)

Math + DEI Book Group (Spring 2024)
Creator and co-facilitator. Lead discussion on diversity, equity, and inclusion in mathematics based on Making Black Girls Count in Math Education by Dr. Nicole M. Joseph.
Math Data Collective Initiative (Spring 2024 -- present)
Creator of initiative to give first- and second-year undergraduate students their first experience in computational math research. Students collect, preprocess, and visualize data, write and debug code based on tutorials, and learn about mathematical research.
