Together with Dr. Elizabeth Qian (Georgia Tech), we designed a new undergraduate program in Fall 2024-Spring 2025 to provide a research experience that is accessible and welcoming to students who have had little or no prior research opportunities. Our program is supported by a SIAM EDI Change Agents Program.
We have designed two projects to be open-ended, exploratory experiences that emphasize hands-on computational experimentation. The research teams will present their work as scientific posters at the Georgia Scientific Computing Symposium 2025, typically held in February.
